Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist physicians and registered nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Admin Support: Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and updating patient records.
- Lab Procedures: Collect and process laboratory specimens, such as blood draws and urine samples, following strict safety protocols.
- Preparation: Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and ensure all documentation complies with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior experience is required. We are looking for motivated candidates eager to learn.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform physical tasks as needed during patient care.
- License: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
