Responsibilities
- Accurately code and submit medical claims to insurance payers (CMS-1500 and electronic).
- Verify and verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and appeal denials to maximize revenue collection.
- Manage patient billing inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and billing documentation.
- Collaborate with the billing team to streamline revenue cycle processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Must be willing to complete our paid training program upon hire.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency with experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
