Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Accurately label, process, and transport blood samples to the laboratory.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
- Interact professionally with patients, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety.
- Manage inventory of phlebotomy supplies and ensure equipment is sanitized.
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Certification (CPT, ASCP, or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
