Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic wound care and monitor for any changes in patient condition.
- Document patient care plans and daily progress notes accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, physicians, and family members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Support patients with mobility assistance and range-of-motion exercises.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Georgia.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not always required for top candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Compassionate nature and a strong commitment to patient dignity.
