Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and prepare IV solutions using provided automated dispensing systems
- Manage inventory of pharmaceutical supplies with provided barcode scanners
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records via provided EMR software
- Operate and maintain provided compounding equipment for sterile preparations
- Assist in training new technicians on provided pharmacy technology systems
- Collaborate with pharmacists using provided telehealth consultation tools
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- 6+ months experience with pharmacy automation equipment
- Certification through PTCB or ExCPT preferred
- Proficiency with EMR systems and inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish a plus
