Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and pharmaceutical ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional patient counseling on medication usage
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for coordinated patient care
- Maintain sterile compounding environments when required
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license
- PTB or ExCPT certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
