Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse medical units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, responding to emergencies promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Mentor junior staff and orient new team members
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree required (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Exceptional critical thinking and assessment skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, independent work environments
