Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in critical care units during night shift hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan RN license (required)
- BSN preferred, ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
