Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in electronic health records.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care support when needed.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (New graduates may be considered).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
