Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to monitor health status and identify changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical indicators closely, documenting all findings accurately in electronic health records.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment in accordance with infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Illinois.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, specifically in an acute care setting.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Must be willing to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and rotating holidays.
