Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by following safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience (Med-Surg, ICU, or ER preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to float between units and adapt to varying shift schedules (Day/Night/Weekend).
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments across Denver and surrounding areas.
