Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care during night shifts with precision and compassion
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and report critical changes promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical events
- Mentor new staff and uphold infection control protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (required)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
- Passion for patient-centered care and teamwork
